Working on the collaboratively crafted sample Pellissippi State Community College EAP Training allowed me to get a real sense of what it means to be an instructional designer. After working with staff and subject-matter experts, my team members and I designed and developed course content to provide faculty, staff, and administrators at Pellissippi State Community College required emergency action plan training. The instructional design plan and training course includes course objectives, learner activities, assessments, and course completion requirements. Alignment to Career Goals and Professional Standards
During the course of my program at UT, I found that my interests have expended to include adult learning in both higher education and workforce training. This particular project allowed me the chance to experience both. It was challenging and tested both my knowledge and collaborative skills. I feel like, out of all my coursework, this project was one of the most beneficial. AECT Standard 1 (Content Knowledge)
